I enjoy collecting and cultivating rare and exotic plants, especially those in the Asclepiadoideae subfamily. I also collect cacti, succulent euphorbias, mesembs, orchids, ferns and aroids. I also enjoy learning about the natural sciences, philosophy and the history of both.

Apart from plants, I also have a lay interest in invertebrates (a growing interest in marine invertebrates thanks to Alexander Semenov's beautiful photos)

I have just started studying biology (majoring in Genetics) at the University of Queensland, hoping to eventually get into evolutionary developmental biology research.
