In my professional life, I'm about as left-brained as you can get. I have a PhD in chemical engineering and I design and build reaction equipment.
In my downtime, I like to not have downtime. I like to ski. I'm a fan of rock climbing and technical mountaineering. I've been known to jump out of planes every now and again. I've ran the Big Sur Marathon twice. I like to grab life by the horns, and I've found that it's a lot more fun to have good pictures of those good times, than bad pictures. So I'm now learning how to take those good pictures.
I shoot with a Canon 5DmkII and a various assortment of L-lenses. Every now and again, I like to become a nerdy strobist and I break out the Alien Bees.
