I am an impetiousand a bad speller...the mother of three wonderful grown up kids, one who uses flickr. I love photography and caught the infection from my father who took photgraphs all the time I knew him and he has not long recently died. Unfortunately I have lost my brother and sister as well as nephew and brother in law all sudden deaths all in the space of 3 years. I have been very poorly and found it very hard to want to go on. but photography has been one of my saviours. I took a course with a extremely old fashioned teacher who has helped to open up my mind and the way I think about framing and everything different in photography. I am now on my second year with him and am still learning so much.
I have been direct about myself as this has been me for the last 5 years and am still struggling at times to be well.
When I go out with my camera the world changes for me. I see creation in a different light and look at things that are quirky and odd and think.....wow that would make a good photo. Am I obsessed with photograpy...yes... the way it takes the strain and stress from my life and then see results (sometimes good) and think thats my world in a picture. I owe this mostly to my Father who took us around our own country to see all its beauty whilst growing up. I dedicate anything good I do in pics no matter how rare to him...he was and still is my inspiration.
