I bought my first DSLR in April 2010 and have a Canon EOS 50D. I have completed the Practical Photography DSLR Skills & Bootcamp courses in 2010 and 2011 which has helped improve my photography, but membership of a Flickr Group running alongside this (of which I am now a moderator) has been invaluable in terms of the critique and friendship received from my peers.

I have 4 Canon lenses as follows:-

* EFS 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS (Weight 600g)
* EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (Weight 600g)
* EF 50mm f/1.2L USM (Weight 580g)
* Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM. (Weight 1050g)

* Canon Speedlite 580EXII Flashgun (bought Oct 11 and not yet familiar with it).
* Kenko extension tube set
* Canon 500D Close Up filter (lens)

I put the weight on lenses on here on as my slight obsession with photography has given me both tennis elbow, now OK, and trigger thumb, so I don't want anything that weighs more than I've already got!

I also use a Canon Powershot SX200 compact camera.

I am interested in a variety of photographic genres, including landscape and macro and would really like to do more portraiture. I also play around with editing, but could really do with some training.
