Long term traditional narrow boat enthusiast, liveaboard & paint anorak! I do a fair bit of signwriting, having worked in the company of my mentor, talented signwriter, Hazardous Kev, for a few years, & decorative painting, wood graining etc, mainly for boats, a fair bit of dancing and related stuff with Black Pig Border Morris and can bore for Britain on the subject of colour charts & paint faults....
My photos are generally taken using my Motorola L6 phone camera, hence the variable / questionable quality, but I generally have the phone with me when I'm painting so it's handier than having to remember the camera proper! Often I only get one opportunity to take some photos before the boat leaves the workshop or boatyard and I may never see it again.
I love a variety of music, especially live stuff - my boat at one time displayed a large banner "Keep music live & loud!" in support of my local pub when their music night was threatened. Can't imagine life without a motorbike somewhere in my family. I like cats too. Want to swap recipes?
