I am an American now living near Sevenoaks in England. I grew up in upstate New York but fell in love with an Englishman in Richmond Va. and moved to the UK in 1984. Apart from two years in Geneva Switzerland, I have lived here since then. After my husband died, I retrained as a speech and language therapist and I now work with children who have learning disabilities in special schools and units. I love my job and it is a creative outlet to design therapy activities which will teach them how to communicate and empower them to have a say in what happens to them. Other creative outlets are sketching, painting, needlework and of course, photography.
