I am an engineer-mechanic and ex-glider pilot (International gliding gold badge). 14 years worked in aviation factory as designing engineer, 20 years - in gliding sport. 16 years was a member of national team of Lithuania and 6 years of the Soviet Union team, won national championship several times, have some records of Republic, won some gold, silver and bronze medals in the championship of the Soviet Union. Flight time logged more than 1500 h, 15 types of gliders, max distance 628 km, max altitude 6200 m in the Caucasus mountain - without oxygen mask... Yes...some funny, but the wave was very strong - 15-20 m/s and I tried it... of cause.
Photography is only my hobby. I have interesting old photos. They are a history of Lithuanian aviation now.
My firs digital camera Fuji film FinepixS1000fd I'd bought only in July of 2008. So I am really beginner photographer.
My comments maybe are with some mistakes in English, because it is not my first language, but i like to write them... Thanks to everybody who will make a visit in my photo stream.
