I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Rural lands are just a kilometer away with wonderful opportunities for photography.

Recently I was frequently flying to Mississauga, Ontario. I like the window seats in the airplanes and can be found camera in hand with the flight attendants wondering what I see in the clouds below.

I've been interested in photography since I got may hands on my father's old cameras when I was nine years old. I wasn't too gentle with them and sadly most of then had a pretty rough time in my young hands. He was pretty good about it and still bought slide film for me until my allowance became sufficient to purchase it myself. My first cameras were a Ricoh rangefinder and a Pentax ME SLR. These served me well for many years. I really enjoyed my time in the darkroom too.

Today I use digital equipment. Digital offers a wonderful opportunity to experiment in ways that I could never have done with film.
