First picked up a "real" SLR camera for the High School Yearbook staff, way back in the early 80's. Got into trouble because I shot too much "weird" stuff. No, not like that, but angles, colours, light, shadow. Not enough of the jocks and preppies...loved the darkroom, though. Never mastered the actual unspooling of the negatives (I'm sorta all thumbs with small things), but making prints was fun. If Paintshop Pro wasn't invented, I'd have to, well, invent it.

Move on to Sheridan College Media Arts and while I was EXPECTED to take pretentious arty shots, the expense got a little much.

First digital was a Canon Powershot at a huge 2MP. Still, it was great learning about f stops, ISO, aperture, etc. again.

Then, went to get a better tripod for the old 2MP...damn, digital SLRs have come down. Hmmmm...

Several hundred dollars later, Cheryl and I walked out of Henry's and there you go. Four months and approx 7,000 shots later, here they are.

Thanks, as always, to Cheryl for prodding me me onwards. Most of the good stuff here is her idea.
