I'm still relatively new to being behind the camera, but no stranger to being in front of it. Having grown up with parents who worked as successful professional photographers, there was a spark of inspiration from the beginning. Cameras were always around during my youth and I became very comfortable with being photographed, early on. This set me up quite well for my modeling career which has granted me the opportunity to travel and shoot with some extremely gifted and renowned photographers.
I'm now ready to translate my experiences into something of my own...a blend of my life experiences and influences, thus far. I'm very excited to share my vision; how I see the world, with others.
Flickr has proven to be such a valuable outlet for feedback and inspiration. I am thrilled to be part of such a creative global community where ideas and encouragement flow.

We've never met in person, but I already know a great deal about him.
First, he has an eye for beauty, and that is the foundation every artist must begin with.
Second, and this is something that transcends mere personal taste, you can tell that he works hard at his photography. There is this sharpness to his images -- not just graphic, but also conceptual. Although we have never spoken on the subject, I am sure he is not afraid of throwing away the shots that aren't good enough for him. That's why his portfolio is solid.
Joel and I work in rather dissimilar modes and convey jarringly different notions through our work. My kind of output is markedly distant from his, but... I would like to flatter myself to think that we share a common grammar -- a visual grammar that demands strong composition and a concern with fundamentals -- and it is our diction that varies, not the language that we speak.
That we are so different, live so far apart and come from very different backgrounds is no reason why we should not admire each other.
