HI. My name is Jake Lester. I grew up in Cairo, Egypt, in a photography studio, but never really started to take pictures in earnest until 2006. The influence of living in the Middle East for more than 25 years can be seen in some of my photographs.

I can also be found on Facebook under the name Osama Nadir (I took the name Osama in 1976, when I was five years old, long before the name got a bad rep. Nadir is my siblings' last name (different father).

I shoot:

- Bronica ETRSi with speed grip, unmetered prism, 150mm MC, 75mm EII, and a 50mm MC;

- Pentax Super Program and Ricoh XRP with Rikenon 50mm F/2, Tokina AT-X 28-80, Kiron 70-200 f/4, and Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Teleconverter;

- Canon EOS A2 and EOS 50D with EF 50mm 1.8, EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, EF 70-200mm f/4 IS, Tokina 12-24mm f/4, EF 85mm f/1.8, and an Olympus OM-mount Panagor 90mm 2.8 Macro with an adapter for EOS.

I scan with an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo.
