  1. you are amazing. both as a photographer, and as a person
  2. you are inspiring. yet again, in everything you do
  3. you are full of passion. nuff said for that i believe - anyone who takes one look at your streak can see that
  4. you are remarkably kind, and generous. no matter how much of a slacker i am, or how much of a bad mood we both are in, you set your self aside, and comfort me. i wish i could do the same for you, and help you through the tougher days
  5. you are you. And that means the world.
  6. you're capable of anything you want
  7. you reach out. and get it. setting high goals, and trying new things never scares you, or if it does, you dont let it hold you back (and never should)

  10. you feel. you show that you care about your friends. you show that you're grateful. you show that you enjoy things, and say when you dont...you feel. and thats an amazingly understated quality these days.
  
  so for the rest of you - Jake is one of a kind, and even though this feels like a contradicting statement - Jake is one of a kind in more ways than one! Opening one of his shots, reading one of his descriptions, sending him one flickrmail will prove that.
  
  So keep on growing Jake, and thank you for everything."
