Hi, what’s up?
Dear Reader I’m Juergen Jauth, I call myself a "every-day-photographer" and come from Klagenfurt, Austria. I started photographing like nearly everyone did, with a small point and shoot camera around the year 2000. Taking pictures where just fun and most of them where taken on parties or on holiday without much speculating on the composition. But after a while I tried to catch the really interessting parts of the world and the more I was photographing the faster I realized that my equipment is reaching the limit for this kind of photography.

Time for DSLR
I decided to buy myself a DSLR in 2008 - a Nikon D80. Since this period I take my camera bag everytime everywhere with me taking pictures in each situation. I'm not specialised into any kind of photography. I like Macro as well as Wildlife and Landscape photography but even try to do some Portrait and Experimental pictures.

No Time - not an excuse but the truth
As my job is constraining me during the week I spend most of the time for photographing in the weekends. As I'm addicted to technical stuff the world of DSLRs has attracted me totally. But remember that all technial equipment is useless if the photographer behind the camera is doing a bad job. How many photos I've seen taken with point and shoot cameras where I thought "Wow, how come?".

For me Flickr is a place to share my work and to get new inspiration from the very great pictures you can find here. I could spend hours and days just browsing for pictures here.
