I love to take photogaphs, to write, to read, to meet new and interesting people and go to new and interesting places.

I lived in England for fifty years. Now (January 2010), after a couple of months travelling across the United States and two weeks in Rarotonga, I am making a new life for myself in New Zealand.

My primary use for flickr is for storing and sorting photos and sharing them with my friends & family.
However, after acquiring a nice camera, (Nikon Coolpix 7900 - a gift from my partner) I've took some rather nice ones - those of which I'm either particularly proud or which I particularly like for some other reason can be found in a set called 'The Best'.
I bought another camera while I was in New York I bought another Nikon Coolpix - a P90. A camera now goes everywhere with me.

If I fave a photo I always leave a comment. I'd like it if you did, too.

I consider life to be too short to be in groups that have compulsory comments. Therefore I'll decline invites to compulsory comment groups.

Snapper & Scribbler. That's what it says on the back of my moo cards. I love taking photographs and I love writing. I'm not great at either but I enjoy it.
