  His interest in photography has grown in leaps and bounds in the past year and with every new image he makes I see his passion and commitment to continue learning as much as he possibly can. Something that I think stands out about his work is his incredible use of light within his pictures. When I watch him work, whether it’s taking a photo or working in post, I can tell everything that he does is coming straight from his heart. His sets are diverse and always interesting, giving everyone many different types of images to sort through and enjoy. Mostly though, Jake is true to himself as an artist. He takes pictures because he loves to take pictures and although comments and feedback are always nice & appreciated, I know he’d continue on doing what he does forever even if it meant he would be the only one to ever view the results.
