Born in Zimbabwe - now in Scotland. UK. Introvert with a sense of humour. I struggle with mental health problems ( borderline personality disorder ) and find photography an avenue to explore my world.
I am self taught - basically trial and error and plenty of experimenting. I don't have a specific genre I focus on but feel I try to capture an element of a sentiment/statement. Much of my work reflects a sense of solitude/loneliness.

Everything she creates demands that the viewer pay attention The bright, eye-catching colors in her photos brings to mind the work of artist, Kay Rosen. Jani's work--to my mind--is focused on the bigger picture, with key details illumniated where the artist is looking for effect.
