I love making pictures using my camera and software.

Update: March 2013

I built a hide in my garden and also a reflections pool and various studio style settings for photographing the local birds. I've always had a lot of birds in my garden, being in the middle of the beautiful rolling Welsh hills, but they're very wild and getting close was always a problem. The hide has solved that and I've been having a lot of fun :o)

" Izzy was I think one of my very first Flickr contacts. We both met in the new group back then that was the Lumix G1! Since then Izzy was sadly taken by the dark side and went to Canon and I went to Nikon. Jokes aside though, Izzy has been a very good friend to me over the years. She has never been frightened to speak her mind and tell me if something was rubbish and likewise praise me for something better. I think we have both helped each other along the way on our learning curves. Izzy has become a top Canon Mk3 bird photographer (amongst other things) with her bigs lenses, and I tried to keep up gear wise, albeit with Nikon equivalents. We have both now found our niche but still keep in touch most weeks. Thanks Izzy for your support over the years. Matt :)"

She has a great comradeship with fellow photographers on Flickr and a fun loving personality.

"When I first saw Izzy's photos I was so impressed I felt very shy about commenting in her stream. Her wildlife photography is stunning and I'm very much in love with her long exposure shots, especially those of the beach in her town. I thought to myself, "Someday, I'll take pictures like Izzy!".

In the meantime, while I pondered about commenting or not, she decided to comment on mine. She has been very sweet and patient with my questions, has always had a kind word about my photography as well as helpful advice and different opinions on what could make my shots be better and given me wonderful tips on how I can become a better photographer. My photography has grown because of her and because I've had her as an inspiration.

    Thank you, Izzy."

"What started off as commenting on another budding Flickr photographer has grown into a real friendship. Izzy's passion and eagerness to learn knows no bounds. In every field of photography she gives her all and produces some stunning work. Always eager to lend a hand, and give an opinion (even if it is rubbish....LOL) on other people's work and is hungry to learn. Go get 'em girl !!!

"The composition and details in Izzy's photos are always excellent. I enjoy viewing her photos and I look forward to seeing her future work. Her knowledge of flowers has helped me to discover the names of flowers in my own photos and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Keep up the good work Izzy!"
