Grew up the US, but now at home in Scotland. Spent 16 years in Edinburgh (surely one of the most beautiful cities on Earth), but when I tried to move house a few years ago, the property prices drove me out. I now live in a gorgeous part of Perthshire, and am lucky enough to be able to work from home. I adopted a rescue dog in January 2009, and she has had a much bigger impact on my life than I was expecting. I love her to bits, and so she appears often in my photostream.

Began to take photos seriously a couple of years ago when someone loaned me a good digital camera. I carry a camera with me everywhere now. A lot of my pictures are taken in the beautiful countryside around my home in Crieff.

If you fave my pictures or add me as a contact, but have little or no photos to share, I will block you. Same goes if your photostream seems to be inactive, or appears (to me) to be offensive.

I am not interested in group awards -- although I do appreciate the spirit with which these awards are given. Please just tell me what you like, or don't like, about my pictures -- your words are more valuable to me than four thousand twirling stars.
