I am a freelance web designer, intermittent poker player, and hesitant artist. I live in a tiny southern town, Water Valley, Mississippi, a state that's easiest to describe in relation to other states. I grew up an hour from New Orleans, Louisiana, and presently live an hour from Memphis, Tennessee. Sandwich in some time living in Japan and Atlanta (which bear a few resemblances, such as too many people and the impossibility of driving anywhere quickly), and you have my life.

I live with my boyfriend of six years (edit: fiance, June 18, 2009; edit: husband, April 10, 2010) in a giant turn-of-last-century house with sixty feet of porch, yellow honeysuckle breezes in the summer, and wisteria breezes in the spring. We always have a house full of friends, a fridge full of booze, and take any opportunity to celebrate the incredible people that we live and work with.

I am a contributor and owner of the currently dormant www.DRMBlog.com, which I am proud enough to mention but not proud enough to keep active. I've kept a journal at livejournal since February of 2001. I recently created accounts on twitter and facebook, but finding me there is sketchy at best. I prefer to see my friends in person as often as I can.

I have several SLR cameras, all Canon and all gifts. My current pet is a digital Rebel XT with a 28 -105mm zoom lens.
