I’ve provided products and services to companies in the UK, US, Asia and the Middle East. Some of these you might know:
Accenture, AIB (Allied Irish Bank), Bank of Ireland, Bearing Point, DHL, Disney, Ernst and Young, IBM, Intel, LeasePlan, KPMG, NEC, Oracle, S1, Symantec, Valista
Vodaphone, Western Union
Where are you now?
Right now I’m in Shanghai, China taking a sabbatical of sorts, though I seem to be busier than ever.
I want you to work for me!
If you’re looking for any work that can be done over the web, drop me a line.
For example, online help, user guides, business blogging, PDF development, case studies, videos, tutorials, or standard technical documentation.
We need a tech writer! Our documents are terrible! What’s FrameMaker? Can you help?
Of course! Let me know what’s involved, a little about the project, your deadlines and the technologies involved. I’ll get back to you for sure.
A little about my background
When I started out, it was Lotus 123 not Excel, WordPerfect, not Word, and Windows actually had windows. Aldus developed PageMaker, which was bought by Adobe and became a sensation on the Mac platform. You get the idea, I’m sure. I’ve probably written thousands of pages of tech docs in that time, though I’ve also been involved in disciplines such as business analysis, proposal development, information architecture and business development here in China.
