Irrequieta ed in continua ricerca, l’arte della Bomben produce stupore e suggestivo canto che travolge e porta con se. Suggestioni che ricordano il piumaggio di uccelli fantastici, i toni caldi di tappeti orientali, i profumi di spezie, il fascino ei grandi arazzi quattrocenteschi, la magia delle antiche maschere veneziane. Il primo richiamo va ai "Fauves" ed alle varie esplosioni di origine nordica, ma anche a certe vampate di colore e varie profondità di certi espressionisti. Comunque lo "spettacolo" c’è ed è vivace e robusto con tanti saluti al Chiarismo ed ai vari ricami.

Nelle sui tele prevale un senso forte del dominio del colore che ha una funzione espressiva e simbolica. Le grandi stesure dei rossi cupi aprono orizzonti e baratri sconfinati, hanno la forza di corpi astrali in movimento, si rendono autonome dai contesti, assorbono voci e suoni e sono gravide di senso. Questi colori sono comunque un mezzo per esprimere la luce, non quella fisica ma quel bagliore luminoso custodito nella mente dell’artista.

Ivana Bomben currently lives in Pordenone (Italy). Yet to become a mature artist, her strong passion for and talent in drawing and abstract painting have quickly helped her to become a very creative painter who is able to communicate her feelings through a unique and uncompromising style. Despite her talent in drawing, her studies and working experiences have kept her away from her passion for a long time. Only in 2000 she became fully aware of her potentials and decided, after a preparatory course in painting techniques, to attend the “International school of graphic design” in Venice. At the same time and with the encouragement and endorsement of well known art critics, she starts to show her work in various galleries. The feedback from the public and the critics was overwhelming and her style quickly became her trademark.

These colours are a metaphysical way to express light which reflects the inner spirit of the artist.
Ivana has shown her work in various galleries and has taken part to many showrooms in a number of cities across Europe such as Rome, Paris, Munich, Geneva, Padua, Udine, Treviso, Bologna, etc.
