My Personal DNA Report
-- this sounds a little too profound to be taken seriously, but it's a fun test.

~~~
My latest inspiration is Martin Munkacsi, early (and now late!) Hungarian photographer who worked in Germany and USA. Enormous joie de vivre, variety of subjects, wide-eyed discovery. Saw his work at SF MoMA. There is something Mozart-like in his work and his life.
Toys:
iPhone 3G! The camera is surprisingly good and it is always with me. Plus, I can email or upload the photo right after I take it! There is no flash, but it does a good job in the dark too.
Most of my photos these days come from a Canon SD870 IS, which is tiny, and has a wide angle image stabilized lens. It is so good for most situations that I barely use my bigger cameras. Otherwise I use a Canon 30D with a Tamron 18-250mm lens. Sometimes I use my Canon G2, modified for infrared with 87C (aka B+W 093) filter direct on the sensor. It produces warm black & white images and it is fast enough for hand-held use at ISO 50.
On my wish list:
- Long relaxing vacation (it's never enough)
- Cute models :)
- Albuquerque balloon festival, adobe houses in Santa Fe, and other interesting things to photograph in the US southwest
- Super wide angle lens like Canon 10-22, Sigma 10-20 etc
- Adobe Lightroom and large LCD monitor
