It's A Sweet Thing!
I create cakes & other sweet things.
I started making celebration cakes in 2005, and over time, growing demand from family and friends (and their friends,and their friends...) has grown into a well developed outlet for my creativity.
I am not a professional and have never worked in a bakery but have taken a few classes.
My accomplishments include Certificates in Cake Decorating levels 1, 2 & 3 and "Fondant and Gumpaste Sugar Flowers". Everything else is self-taught.
I am continually experimenting with new ideas and strive to design the most stunning and creative cakes imaginable. I really enjoy the challenge that each new cake idea presents.
Quilting , Scrap-booking and Gardening are just a few of the countless arts & crafts that inspire me.
When not baking and decorating, I love spending time with my husband and two young daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylie.
