Hurrying for the train

I'm old enough to keep quiet about it but not old enough to boast! I live in a 300 year old cottage and early morning is my favourite time of day. I've always enjoyed taking photos You may find one or two monochrome experiments among my photos but I generally conduct a love affair with colour. But I don't change the colours much - maybe enhance a bit but not too much, and I find that cropping in the right places is very important.

My favourite places are North Yorkshire and Turkey. I love France too but haven't visited much for a long time. Perhaps it's time that changed.........

I love the opportunity that Flickr gives not only to share photos but to see something of how other people live and how they view the world through their own camera's eye.

I now have a Canon EOS 400D as well as my Canon Powershot A80, but don't ignore my Sony Ericcson w810i cam phone for occasional use as it gives good results when the cameras aren't at hand.
