I think of him as a Beethoven, Picasso, Columbus or heck even Oprah in the photography world because his work is so inventive it inspires & fuels so many others in field. (My self included) I have only known Ed for a short amount of time, but have found his work deeply influential. When I take photos, it is hard for me to not think, "How would Ed shoot this?" or when editing a photo "How would Ed make the colors pop, but in a natural way?"
  Not only is he reinventing the way people see the world & go about taking photos, but he somehow manages with his busy family life & work schedule time to get to know other photographers & offer words of advice & praise.
  
  This guy has truly impacted my photography journey thus far.
