Isar is the name of the river that flows through Munich, the city where I was living when I opened my flickr account.

My photos are not intended to be works of art.. more snippets of information.. They mirror most of my interests and perhaps some would say are a bit of a mess.. I personally think it would be sad if I was only interested in just one thing.. I'm not. Architecture, cities, historical events, public transport, as well as politics, are all included.. and I haven't even mentioned my musical interests.. which are quite diverse.

I am also a book and map collector, love junk shops and flea markets and I'm always on the look out for old & interesting photographs.
I also love good food and enjoy jogging and I think I'm a typical example of someone born under my star sign..



I seem to have lived in so many different places, am originally a North London boy and first saw the light of day, just to the north of Hampstead Heath.

I've also lived in:
London: Finchley, Tottenham, Harringay, Woodford Green
Hamburg: Altona
Berlin: Kreuzberg, Spandau, Schöneberg, Mitte
München: Maxvorstadt, Schwabing, Isarvorstadt

Currently, my life revolves around Berlin and München.
