Isabel Forcato nació en Buenos Aires . Al concluir el colegio secundario, realizó estudios de realizadora cinematográfica y asistió a cursos de fotografía, incluyendo talleres de laboratorio experimental. Luego egresó como profesora superior de Bellas Artes en la especialidad grabado y técnicas de impresión. Se desempeña también como diseñadora de arte tanto en teatro como en cine.

Isabel Forcato was born in Buenos Aires. After she had got her high-school degree, she studied cinema and photography, including experimental lab workshops. Then, she became an Engraving and Printing teacher at the School of Fine Arts. She was awarded several prizes in the plastic field. She also works as an art director in theatre and cinema.
