Well aside from being landing here, Earth has brought me some great joy. Though a majority of this planet is overdriven by coldhearted individuals, there are these few humans that make this feel like home. Upon arrival I have found it difficult to put my guitar down.
My photography has brought me much satisfaction because i feel that these are moments contained in a concrete usable form. I have found much influence through flickr and as of recent I have looked to books of different artists. Andy Warhol has inspired me a lot even though he did mainly painting I feel some strange connection. Alfred Eisenstaedt has many pieces including, of coarse, the VJ Day photo. I really reap much from just about everyone, except things that I can't relate. Examples would be Anne Geddes' work. I don't have a problem photographically with her work, it's the subject matter that almost makes my skin crawl. Babies seem more forced into those various sets thus making it less natural.
