    Daniel Greene says:

"Irin's photography is informed by the great masters of painting. You can read hints of these influences in her titles, descriptions, and comments, but you can really see it in her work as well. Her photographs are thoughtfully composed, skillfully captured, and obviously well received. They celebrate all that is pretty in the world-- not in a cloying, saccharine-sweet way, but in a way that inspires me to look for moments of beauty among the grit."

"Irin is that rarest of treasures: a shy and modest artist. She has no cause to be modest, though because she’s loaded with talent – multiple talents, in fact. She has only scratched the surface with her Flickr posts in terms of showing what she can do with a camera. She has a unique eye, but she hasn’t been able to exercise it to the fullest lately because of external demands on her time.

I wish she’d snap some photos of some of the paintings she’s done and post them, because she has some amazing art around her house that she’s produced over the years and I’m sure they’d be a big hit on Flickr. She also is a gifted web-page designer and an erstwhile book publisher. As if that weren’t enough, she’s an extremely talented singer and keyboardest who has released one CD already and is working on a second.

She combines a down-home sense of humor that verges on being goofy with a very sophisticated and discerning eye for pathos, tragedy and all forms of beauty. She is, as the law books say, sui generis – a genre unto herself. And, as another book says, to know her is to love her."

    Jeff Holbrook says:

"I find it hard to believe I am the first to give Irin a testimonial. In addition to being a fantastic photographer, she is such an honest and caring person. She spreads light and sunshine to anyone she comes in contact with. If you've been privileged to get to know her, you can understand what I am saying.
Her photostream is a wonderful mirror of the beauty she has inside. Spend some time here! You'll be glad you did!!"
