My Flickr Code: F7 I c+ f+ g+ m+

I had my first SLR at the age of 14. From then on I used it mostly on vacations. When I switched to digital, my interest for photography became more prominent and I started taking pictures without travelling first ;)

As several people had asked about my photogear:
I used a Nikon D70 DSLR for the first ~1000 shots on my photostream and then upgraded to a Nikon D200. After about 1600 shots, I added a Nikon D2Hs to my bag.

Currently, I use the following lenses:
- Sigma 10-20mm F4-5,6 EX DC HSM
- Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G
- Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AF
- Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G VR
- Nikkor TC-17E II Teleconverter
- Canon 500D 77mm close-up lens
- Tokina ATX Pro 2,8/100mm Makro D
- Tokina Fisheye 3.5-4.5/10-17mm
- Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 D AF
- Nikkor 400mm f3.5 ED-IF AI-S (manual focus)

Some of my earlier zoo pictures were made with a Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D VR, which I sold when I bought the 70-200, as I couldn't afford two of those expensive lenses...

My older travel photos were made with a Nikon FE-2 manual focus SLR and the following lenses:
- Soligor 20mm f/2.8
- Soligor 28-80mm f3.8-4.8
- Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
- Tokina SZ-X 70-210mm f/4-5.6
- Tokina AT-X M90 90mm f/2.5 Macro

All pictures on my flickr page got some post processing in Photoshop CS2. Sometimes just a size reduction and minimal sharpening, sometimes more elaborate adjustments (curve adjustments, shadow/highlights, noise removal via the Noise Ninja plugin, removal of unwanted details etc.)

But the most important elements of my equipment are
- a set of eyes
- a high powered neural processor (aka 'brain') with a 'picture finder' algorithm ;)
