IoW_Sparky (off line - again)'s photostream  

An Isle of Wight (IoW) resident with an interest in, amongst other things, photography, playing in a brass band, steam trains, buses, and history - and of course the Isle of Wight, which is an Island off the south coast of England for anyone who doesn't know where it is.

I used a Canon AE1 Program in my 35mm days but these days I use a Canon EOS 550D.

2009 was a bad year for my wife & I as unfortunately, that was when our only son James Christopher Sparks lost his battle against Cystic Fibrosis and other illnesses and he sadly passed away on the 28th June at the age of 17. His motto in life was 'it's not going to win' and he faced everything with courage and without complaining.

We're now in 2011, but everyday I still mourn his passing and think of the big void this has left in our lives. He is sadly missed by us, not only as our son but as a very, very good friend.
