The Institute of Education (IOE) is a college of the University of London and one of the world's leading graduate schools for the study of education and related social sciences.

Based in the heart of central London, the IOE is home to some of the world's leading academics in education, as well as the largest education library in Europe. It offers more than 50 masters degrees in education, including two MBAs, and has the UK's foremost doctoral school in the field.

The IOE was ranked number one in the UK for research in education by the government's most recent Research Assessment Exercise. In 2009, it was ranked fourth nationwide for student satisfaction by the National Student Survey.
