03-10-2009 : My name is HENRY JOSEPH SANCHEZ. I am originally from Quebec City , Canada. am currently 50 years years old,a Biochemist by trade,having obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology,and a Masters degree in Chemistry at the University of Miami in Coral Gables,Florida. I have always had two hobbies. One is Numismatics, the other Photography... I hail from the old school;and have been taking pictures with myriad cameras since rhe age of eight. My current baby is an Olympus OM 4 N TI black,obtained recently in New York City. I have travelled extensively throughout the world and particularly cherish friendship and cultural diversity. I learned to speak eight languages fluently,and have finished visiting my 85 th. country. I currently reside in Sunny San Diego,in Southern California;and have shot over 40 thousand photographs all housed in 84 albums. I hail from the old school of Photography.,progressing through black and white to color,but all with slr cameras. I prefer manual settings to even automatic. I believe that everyone should carry a camera every day of our lives-for if so,you might always catch that elusive prize shot.I sincerely believe that photography is merely the marriage of Physics and Creativity...and what a truly marvelous union of expression they ultimately produced..I am just beginning to learn digital photography as well...please bear with me with this regard.
