My name is Ryan Geiger. I’ve spent a good chunk of my adult life thus far as an interactive developer, print and web designer, and post-production nerd working in-house for some cool {and not-so-cool} ad agencies. During this time I’ve worked on creative for Anheuser-Busch, Toyota, IBM, SeaWorld, GNC, Outback Steakhouse, Publix Supermarkets, and Honda.

In 2007 I made the jump over to the freelance side of things, and not because I wanted to be my own boss, sleep in late, or work in my underwear. I actually wanted to dedicate some time to a new blog, perform a bit more {guitarist/singer/songwriter/lover}, and hopefully win the lottery.

I’m originally from the northeast, but relocated to Florida for work. It took me four years to discover that palm trees, pirate festivals, and constant sweating aren’t exactly the ingredients of my ideal living situation. So in 2008 it was back to a climate I was comfortable with, but somewhere different.

How about Denver? Okay, why not?

Let’s see, there are a few things I really like. Straight lines, helvetica, moleskine, negative space, all things Apple, Mr. Jameson, jazz, listening to vinyl, silent movies with the volume turned all the way up, and simplicity.

Other than that, there’s Duncan the boston terrier, he’s got a lot of personality. And there’s Zoe, the female who happens to be my favorite person to hang out with. She’s got a lot of personality too.

In March 2009 I accepted an offer to become the Creative Director at Location 3 in Denver, and have yet to win the lottery.
