On 13 January 2012, Innsbruck, Seefeld and Kühtai will write sports history by launching the 1st ever Winter Youth Olympic Games. From 13 to 22 January, Tyrol will stage a unique, ten-day festival of sport and culture for young people from around the world. And you can be part of it!
63 medal events in 7 sports and 15 disciplines combined with the diverse Culture & Education Programme – the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games will feature high-level sport performances, great concerts and interesting workshops for everyone. Watch 1,059 athletes from 67 nations compete in Innsbruck, Seefeld and Kühtai and play your part in this unforgettable event with its exceptional atmosphere!
