IC:Innovative Craft acts as a catalyst to understanding world class craft in all its forms through organising exhibitions, talks and events. We work with artists, makers, collectors and curators in Scotland and around the world to highlight innovative contemporary objects and raise critical awareness of how they are displayed, interpreted, enjoyed and understood.
In August 2008 we moved into Dovecot, an exciting new exhibition and studio space created out of a former Victorian swimming pool in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town as the new home for Dovecot Studios - the Edinburgh Tapestry Company.
