I was born in 1985 in San Diego, California.

Following a move to Dallas, Texas as a teenager, I began experimenting with toy cameras, creating portraits of my friends and producing album covers for local bands. These initial explorations led me to pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography at the College of Visual Art and Design at the University of North Texas.
