I am a lifelong fiber artist and work with almost all fiber media. Spinning, knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, papermaking, felting. I am also a dyer and use fiber reactive, acid, and vat dyes. I make hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, vessels, sculptural book forms, pages, quilts. I am often inspired by painting and sculpture, and love Egyptian art and history, and African and Japanese textile art and history as well.
