I am a very compassionate person. I am also a very emotional person. I've been criticized for this and it's been insinuated that I am weak because of it.
I believe that it makes me stronger than the average person.

I also have something called Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Only people who have Lupus or other similar chronic illnesses, that are "invisible" can really know what it's like to have so much taken away from you. Then you have to spend your life trying to get "IT" back. The life force, whatever. Your spirit...your love of life..

It seems to me, that there are two kinds of people in the world (1) The type that really "see" (2) and the type that don't. I happen to think I am the type that "sees" and therefore am willing to admit when I am wrong, admit if I have made a mistake and willing to listen to other people's opinions.
This doesn't mean I am a doormat. But it does mean that I learned I don't have to always be "right."
I just wish I wasn't surrounded by people who do feel the need to always be "right" no matter what....it's sad to me.

So, I immerse myself in the Internet with my photography and Second Life.

I love having philosophical conversations about most anything. Whether through the written word or through the spoken word on the computer. Either way is a joy to me. I don't get this at my home or with many other people other than a few members of my family.

I find that I just love some of the people I have "met" on here.
I love the connection I have found here. Thanks to you who have made a connection with me.

Oh, and I use a Canon 20D & 50D with the regular lens and a telephoto lens. I have a underwater camera and various other digital cameras that I have purchased and/or used over the years. It isn't the camera to me, but the person behind it that creates the photograph. Even the worst camera can create a fantastic, moving photograph if the person taking it makes it so..
