~ Panache says:
"I read this somewhere, I quite don't remember who said this but it goes something like this " Each day one should at least hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture and, if possible, speak a few reasonable words."
I say all one needs to do is land at shamik's page you will obviously see a fine picture, if you read through you will see a poem, if you spend more time you will hear a song. I can spend all day looking through his stream appreciating the art. All the best buddy, you will surely shine!!
Autograph please :))"25th June, 2007

"Truly an inspirational photographer! I continue to be amazed by his astounding images. I am a richer person knowing Shamik as a contact. I feel blessed to be able to see things that I take for granted each day, as Shamik can make even the most boring subject come alive with breathtaking results."

airport sleeper says:
"I just wrote a testimonial about Shamik, and then I read the flickr warning that says "don't bother with something rude or nasty", so I had to start over again. ;-P
Seriously though (if only for a brief moment), having met Shamik through flickr, I can say that he really is as nice a guy in person as he is on flickr. He is also a sponge to learn more about photography and new techniques and because of this, he makes me feel lazy. I often don't know what he is talking about when he talks about photo stuff. lol :-)) However, the end result is always impressive. Keep on shooting and making me feel lazy Shamik! You're doing a great job so far!"3rd June, 2007

SkyShaper says:
"80. Only 80 so far, as of this writing. 80 photos in his photostream. Most Flickr freaks have hundreds, some thousands ( me included ). Yet it took me longer to gaze thru your stream than those others. There are images you create that stop me cold. I enlarge them, sit back in the dark and drink it all in and say "how?" I dare ask your technique, I simply try harder and try to improve. Thanks.
Your comments also are as if a friend is speaking to me. Always friendly, always complimenting...........it's people like you that keep people like me in this game. For that I send big thanks.
Your friend,
S.S."28th October, 2006

jessi. says:
"You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer person on Flickr.
In addition to constantly updating his own impressive photostream, he always finds the time to comment on other people's photos. Quite often I go to comment on an image to find that he's been there and left a comment similar to what I myself was going to write. (This seems to happen to me often.)
His own photos are always very colorful and full of life. His HDR work is impressive in that the effect is always quite subtle, and adds a nice hint of extra depth and color to his nicely composed images.
Keep watching him. He'll be famous."11th July, 2006

Junketz says:
"So young, so carefree.
Ditto that RAW talent & constantly evolving flickrstream.
Absorbing new ideas & squeezing out the rest for us.
Always an inspiration.
If we were to stage a heist, Shamik would be in charge of intelligence.
Cheers!"6th July, 2006
