UPDATE..... Bought the D300... WOW. The D100 is now over 50,000.

Interested in photography since the late 70's. At one point I moved a long distance and left all of my photos and negatives (two shopping bags full) at the old place. Didn't notice until 3 months later - heartbreaking - caused me to give it up for a few years.

Bought a used Nikon D100 a couple of years ago and now have some 30,000 pictures. I just started putting them up on flickr so there are more to come. Some of them I feel are great shots, others I just like.

I have never been formally trained although, I intend to go to some classes this year.

Interested in taking pictures of almost anything. My wife is an Equine Portrait artist.... you may notice I take horse pictures!!

I am open to all comments good or bad as I want to get better at what I really love.

In my third and last career, I would like to take pictures for a living.... just putting it out there.

I am selling some of the horse pictures. People ask me all the time.... "how do you get such great shots?!" I reply the same way every time -- " I point the camera; God pulls the trigger!"

Please do not add my photos as FAVES witiout commenting or having a photostream. If you do and your your stream or favorites are outside my security settings I will block you. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
