This website was made as part of my thesis research on laneway housing in Hamilton, Ontario. I wanted to share my photos online, as lanescapes and the various tacit qualities of alleys are often under-appreciated if not forgotten. I would like this to be a continuous process where I will add more photos from future alley walks. I hope this motivates you to purposely walk the alleys in your own city. Enjoy!
