I am a born and raised Houstonian and have lived in Texas all my life. I have been married to my husband for 11 years and we have a beautiful, smart and god-kissed baby girl who was born in June of 08. We have stayed in Houston to be close to our family, and everyone is enjoying the first grandchild to grace our lives.
Before I was pregnant, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more or less 6 years, and also sold jewelry I love to create. Started about 9 years ago as a hobby, and when I was between jobs, it served me well as I was able to sell many pieces to a client I met online who owns a salon in downtown historic Lampasas, Tx.
My dream is to work for myself, and have a sustainable income. One day, one day... The world is a very different place now. We seem to have an economy that thrives on the contract employee, and with mergers and patent expirations, and profit driven decisions that cut employees very readily and seemingly often, I can only smile, and know that I will find my niche. I will expect to be on the upside of down some days and the downside of up on some others, but I am ready for it...I live it. Most important, all my talk about career, or lack of for the time being is the truth---it's okay...I am rich in love and I am blessed to give my love to the most incredible person in my life and I am so happy I did it - I am a MOM!
I love photographing my daughter, but I also love macro and nature shots, events and candid shots of people. I am a novice, but I am learning, and love what images provoke in me emotionally. They help me remember the past, and create a moment in time that may or may not tell the true story, but a story is told indeed.
