I left my Canon EOS 5D on a light rail train heading down to Occupy Portland on #N17. I was anticipating my arrival and jumped off the train and realized my camera was still on the seat. Saw the train pull away fast and I knew I couldn't catch it so I called the train hotline # to report the incident. They had a worker get on the train close by but the camera was gone. They also told me they can't get to the on train video.
My photojournalism is on hold along with my creative photography. My heart is hurting without my camera.. : ( I'm unemployed currently so I'm not sure what to do now.
I've posted ads on Craigslist, Tweeted, Facebooked, contacted pawn shops and filed a police report to find my camera. Anyone have other suggestions?
