when i was little i just liked to press "the button" on my parents' camera....and take pictures of myself in the mirror(ok so not much has changed execpt now I'm using my own camera:). Then, i progressed into taking pictures of my mother's beautiful flower beds and the woods that surrounded my childhood home. In my early teens i realized that when you take the pictures you don't have to be in them and that's when i started carrying a camera with me everywhere. Now, i just find that I notice things bigger, brighter, and better when i'm looking at them through the lens of my camera. It's my favorite way to walk through life...

I still shoot film with my Nikon N70. And recently I've been playing with a couple of inexpensive digitals with hopes of upgrading to a dslr someday.
