:: a little something about myself

well hi my name is Ian Borg and i currently live in Malta, sunny, beachy and full of nice people .
I have a vast interest in a lot of things and always try to expand my skill book further.

I am 19 years old and studying programming languages and techniques which you would not want to hear details about. I know its a bit geeky, I sometimes find it very stressing but I am loving every second of it and am determined it could be my future.

In my old days I used to play some sports but am currently practicing nothing, but really looking forward to start a new sport and learn something new maybe swimming ... really anything would do (I'm open for suggestions=]).

My love for photography began growing some months back and tried improving it by learning new stuff especially about lighting. Creativity is sometimes limited but the shooting possibilities are endless and the sky is the only limit or Not=]. My very first shots were kinda 'point and shoot' without really knowing what the photo is supposed to mean so i'll certainly try to give more sense to photos and work on huger project since in my opinion, it's the Quality NOT the Quantity.

I built up a gear with a Sony Alpha A100, kit lens, 50mm prime f1.7 and a telephoto lens 70-210 f4 and I loved my gear every second I used it but it was soon enough that I came to realize it lacked picture quality and other important camera stuff. Obviously I would have liked.. sorry.. Loved to be a 5D Mark II or 700D owner but they're a little pricey for my pocket so I bought a Canon 40D and am building up my gear again.

Any gear suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
