I am you we are.

That's us.
Formed 2008 during the cold Swedish winter. We wanted to create music with an odd twist to it, but still not too difficult to listen to. We had our biggest admirable eyes on Björk and PJ Harvey and they influenced us by having an own peculiar style. From just being Phoenix and Anahita on vocals and guitar we changed.
Hilda, Ellen and Ida had all three been playing in different constellations and I am you we are was reborn. Our band developed to include accordion, piano, djembe, saxophone and flute in our music and suddenly the music struck our fancy once again. In april 2009 Hilda decided to leave the band, so today we stand as a quartet.

Soon you will see us again on a stage close to you.

We're currently recording our first EP - "The masquerade". It's going to be your favourite record.
