"Though I did not star in Carrington with big head (see below), and I no longer recall how we first met on flickr, I feel as if I know her more through all our strange intersections and coincidences. Lilia was the first person to give me the sense that meeting a friend on flickr is like taking part in a chess game. watching shots post akin to pieces as they move across a board and a pattern unfolds. She picks and chooses what to show us. Some of it is beautiful, some of it heartbreaking. There is a rhythm to revealing life up here, and Lilia introduced me to it."
