I like to travel, to eat, and to sew, but above all else, I love to cook. I'll try most any recipe that sounds or looks good.

After cooking comes my love of all things Japan and Japanese. I've lived in and traveled around Japan, can speak Japanese, and have studied Japanese language, culture, and history for years.

To keep up on my Japanese reading skills, I cook from Japanese cookbooks and recipes. Strange, yes, but delicious!
