To state the obvious, I am an uber-geek.
That said, I am a photography major at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. No matter what you may hear or think otherwise, being an art major is hard work. I'm not sure I can stress that fact enough.
My cameras of choice are the Nikon D50, Nikon F2, and Hasselblad. If I'm feeling creative, the Holga gets some love, as well. I also love to draw and I've found lately that I'm a better artist than I previously thought. Drawing, however, tends to take away my photographic muse, so really, it's a double-edged sword.
Random facts:
- I'm from Ann Arbor but at times I absolutely loathe the city
- I play the cello and have been since the age of ten
- I am extremely shy, even around people I know
- My favorite photographic subject is architecture and the urban decay tied into it
- Giant alien robots that transform into cars, planes, and the occasional gun are probably the best thing ever
- My MacBook has become an extension of my body
- I have a weird sense of humor
- The Detroit Red Wings are my heroes.
I'm Female and Single.

Testimonials
JackCoursey says:
"This fine lady is indeed the Annie Leibovitz of Michigan theatre photography. She also is quite a researcher, evident by her ability to locate these architecture gems harbored away in obscure hamlets within the great Midwest."
KBlood says:
"I am now 47 and it has taken me this long to get even close to the eye for detail that a much younger IAJS has. I'm looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things this photographer has to share with us in the future."
Newleaf says:
"This young woman takes the most amazing photographs; better than 90% of the others on Flickr and certainly (mostly) better than mine. I love her choice of subject, her stories, the ability to record and tell a story with her camera. And no, I'm not related."
mfophotos says:
"Mo is a wonderful photographer. She sees beauty in the details and in the textures of what is in front of her. She never fails to surprise me with a different view of something that I have shot myself. I'd like to claim that she learned it all from me, but in fact, I think she's in a class by herself."
SNWEB.ORG Photography says:
"She does some great inspiring photos of theater marquees.
She reminds us of the good old days of theaters in every neighbor hood and the elaborate architecture that dominated the world.
Photos of theater marquees are rare and she does them justice."
